The night before...

To say I am excited now would be a rather large understatement.  This time tomorrow I will be on my second flight from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur aboard the Airbus A380 and I can't wait to get to Malaysia.  It is true that I have never flown before and that this will be the longest journey I have ever made.  I am not worried about that though as I can't wait to experience Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur for myself.  It was hard not to think about it at work today and I failed miserably in that regard, but what excites me the most is that this is a whole new experience for me.  Travelling with my lovely lady makes the whole trip less daunting as I would have been more concerned if I had travelled alone to a new country.

In other Malaysian related news, I am really hoping that the UK based board of directors can salvage the planned investment into Cardiff City FC.  Earlier this week plans were leaked about a proposed £100 million investment into the club, which would have seen the club rebranded and playing in red.  The outcry that followed from some sections of our "supporters" was unbelieveable and some of it was highly rude and disrepectful towards Vincent Tan and Dato Tien Ghee.  I really hope that they see that this small vocal minority are not viewed as the voice of the majority of fans and that they will reconsider their decision.  This investment could be the difference between Cardiff City continuing to exist or being liquidated.  As the City song goes "You are my Cardiff, my only Cardiff.  You make me happy when skies are grey.  You'll never notice how much I love you, please don't take my Cardiff away".  If our Malaysian investors should read this post then please understand that the majority of Cardiff City fans fully appreciate what you have done in saving our club.  Don't listen to the views of some so called City fans who really are abusive sub intellectual neanderthals as they will only ever moan or be abusive towards you.  They do not represent the majority of lifelong City fans who fully support you.  Please stick with us and be assured we will stand by you.
